Nina Grueneberger

LCSW

Nina Grueneberger graduated from Sacramento State University with a 4.0 GPA with honors. She is a Board Certified Diplomate through the National Association of Social Workers. She has worked in the field of mental health for 25 years and has a stellar reputation as a private practice psychotherapist in Sacramento, CA.  Nina has worked with children, families, adults, and groups in her years of serving her community.  She has also provided supervision to interns and has taught graduate students how to work with couples.  Her focus has always been a relational approach that helps those who work with her to have better relationships with themselves, their friends and loved ones, and their environments. Nina’s long term relationship with The Gottman Institute has resulted in her becoming an international consultant, couple’s workshop leader, a Master Trainer for Levels 1,2, &3, and a video reviewer for those wanting to become Certified Gottman Couples Therapists.

Additionally, Nina has presented and has acted as emcee at The Gottman Institute’s annual conference.  She has given full day Seven Principle teachings in Fairbanks and Anchorage Alaska for the annual conference of the National Association of Social Workers, and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.  Nina’s style is warm, personable, and engaging.  She has a passion for healing relationships and brings her own personal experience and a wealth of knowledge and expertise when she speaks to the needs of her audience.  Nina’s hope is that in speaking about and teaching Gottman Method Therapy, she will inspire others to use the principles to create more inner peace and a more peaceful world.
