THE WORKSHOP PROGRAM
This workshop, Deepening the Gottman Method,  takes the concrete and practical concepts of The Art and Science of Love workshop presented by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, to a deeper and broader experience. Through a combination of informative presentations, NEW interactive exercises, entertaining role plays and some multi-media presentations, you and your partner will work privately on practicing and developing even more skill to enhance your relationship, manage conflict more easily and learn how to bring these skills home with you. Certified Gottman Therapists* will be available throughout the day to help you practice these exercises and skill building. This workshop is psycho-educational, confidential and there is no group work or public disclosure.

The workshop is now offered as a One-Day or Two-Day program. The one-day program includes a full review of the Sound Relationship House and will give you opportunities to develop additional skills including effective problem solving, repair and compromise. The Two-Day program builds on the One-Day material and provides an opportunity to gain greater skill in effective repair after a regrettable incident and learn more about physical, emotional, and spiritual intimacy. You will have a chance to ask questions and work with experienced Certified Gottman Therapists* during the workshop.

The workshop is taught by:
Andy Greendorfer, LCSW (click for  more information)   and
Mirabai Wahbe, MA, (click for more information)
who are founding members of The Gottman Relationship Center and Referral Network and have more than 45 years combined clinical experience.

COST:
$300 per couple (One-Day program)
$600 per couple (Two-Day program)

TESTIMONIALS
"It was a good review of the tools that help us build our Sound Relationship House. We are trying to break our cycle of ineffective communication, and the review was a good refresher."

"It was especially promising to see that my wife and I have many long and short-term goals in common. With the Gottman Method we stand a better chance of meeting those together."

"This is our third time attending a Gottman workshop.  Each time I hear more and understand the information at greater depth. I can now build the concepts into my way of having a happy relationship with my wife."

"We took the time to talk about our relationship with each other and listen to each other. We had stopped following the techniques/exercises we learned at the 2-day workshop. This workshop was a great reminder of what we learned and a “kick in the pants” to get us working on strengthening our relationship."

"We recently completed the 2-day workshop that started our process towards a better relationship. This course reinforced what we learned and expanded our knowledge base."

"This workshop really deepened what we learned in the 2-day workshop."

"The workshop we attended previously was good but it was so much info to learn. We have a better understanding of each other now.  In this workshop we took the time needed to talk about things we usually avoid, and really listened to each other. Thank You!"

"I liked everything about this workshop: Presentation was fluid; Organization was clear and logical; Pacing was comfortable; Presenters were warm, authentic, and personal."

"The exercises helped us define our relationship areas we need to work on and we were given more tools to do this. I am going to continue to build skills in dealing with issues."

"We had the chance to refocus on each other and our communication styles and look at each other’s values and priorities – things we don’t usually take time for."

"The Gottman Method is a tool that we use to stay happy and keep ourselves together. It takes a lot of work, but I think there are places that a relationship can go that can only be attained with further knowledge and new techniques."
