Who We Are
The Gottman Relationship Institute was co-founded by Drs. John and Julie Gottman in 1996. Our primary focus is to help couples improve their relationship skills. We provide workshops and resource materials for couples, and we offer state-of-the-art training for mental health professionals and other health care providers who counsel couples. Our products and programs are based on 35 years of research on relationships. No other approach to enhancing relationship skills is based on such an intensive, detailed, and long-term scientific study of why relationships succeed or fail.

Salesforce CRM Administrator

We are seeking a full-time Salesforce CRM Administrator. This person will be responsible for developing and supporting application-based solutions to the organization's business needs (especially e-commerce functions), and will support both central office staff and staff who telecommute from home offices. Primary emphasis is ensuring data integrity and accurate management of touch points with other current and future applications, while supporting staff productivity and enhancing customer service. Successful candidate will be immediately available to work in Seattle area office. Some telecommute hours possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the SFDC application including system configuration, data setup and ongoing maintenance.
  • Customize Salesforce.com fields, page layouts, objects, record types, reports and dashboards.
  • Work with Salesforce developers and outside vendors on system extensions, customizations, and integrations with third party applications.
  • Gather business requirements for new implementations, deployments, as well as assessing business impacts.
  • Ensure latest capabilities of the platform are utilized as well as developing strategies for taking advantage of the latest features.
  • Identify SF.com usage problems and craft technical / communication plans to remedy.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operations.
  • Maintain user roles, security, and profiles.
  • Maintain workflow rules, field updates, and email alerts.
  • Manage mass imports and exports of data.
  • Provide on-going support and system administration to quickly fix production issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assisting in-house Salesforce users.
  • Conduct training of SalesForce.com to in-house users.
  • Set security and access rights, including organization-wide defaults, roles, role hierarchy, sharing rules, public groups, teams, and folders.
  • Set up Workflow and Workflow Approval processing.
  • Perform data validation and use data utilities, including the Data Loader and Mass Delete.
  • Configure/use standard reports, custom reports, and custom report types.
  • Configure/use dashboards and dashboard components.
  • Print and export reports; email and schedule reports and dashboard refresh.
  • Set up marketing campaigns, campaign hierarchies, lead queues, assignment rules, web-to-lead and auto-response rules.
  • Configure campaign measurement, campaign influence, and lead conversion.
  • Set up Salesforce Console functionality and navigation.
  • Configure custom objects, applications, and tabs.
  • Work closely with e-commerce partner to manage structure of website
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements

  • BS degree and 3-5 years experience as administrator in a Salesforce Enterprise Platform environment.
  • Excellent listening, communication (verbal and written), negotiation and phone skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong ability to interpret technical data.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Ability to translate customer/business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Business acumen, including a good sense of how a CRM application can be utilized to improve business processes and contribute to the bottom line.
  • SQL experience.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with Salesforce developers and/or outside vendors on system extensions, customizations, and integrations with third party applications.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Action-oriented.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to receive assignments in form of goals and effect necessary results.
  • Familiarity with HTML.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance and the use of a personal vehicle.

Operational Systems & Website Support Technician

Half-time time Position

The Operational Systems & Web Support technician will be responsible for providing daily operational support to our staff and provide ongoing support for our web site. Primary emphasis is supporting productivity of staff by ensuring that operational systems are working properly (especially e-commerce functions). Additional emphasis is on creative and proactive approaches to improving customer service and productivity through improvements to business processes. Web support responsibilities, including maintenance and update of content and images on web pages is included as well. Successful candidate must be immediately available to work in Seattle area office. Some telecommute hours possible. 


Key Responsibilities:

Maintain Smooth Functioning of E-Commerce and Web Systems

  • Act as a liaison between staff and external vendors to trouble-shoot problems.  Assure accurate problem diagnosis of web and e-commerce systems and work towards resolution.
  • Administrate and oversee logging of problems and resolutions in CRM case portal for website/CRM/fulfillment functionality and other technical/operational issues
  • Administrate and oversee technical cases through website CRM
  • Analyze, document, and escalate issues to appropriate organizations (Network Engineering, Business/Application Specialists, Operations, development and vendors)
  • Collaborate with other IT staff and business units as needed
  • Collaborate with CRM Administrator on data entry, optimization and cleansing.
  • Gather and input data for regular reports as requested by CRM Administrator
  • Collaborate with and support CRM Administrator as needed
  • Oversee storing and sharing of organizational and customer data with regard to HIPPA security rules
  • Provide accurate information to staff in response to production issues and requests for enhancements to existing and/or new business systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Provide Website Support

  • Maintain and update content and images on web site pages 
  • Build/modify content in HTML
  • Provide support to staff working on web content updates/revisions
  • SEO and web analytics knowledge a plus

Ancillary Responsibilities -  Computer Hardware and Software Support

  • Participate in user support, troubleshooting, configurations, set up and disable systems, PCs and laptops, VOIP, hardware and other peripherals.
  • Train and support in-house staff as needed.
  • Identify and resolve data security risks.
  • Diagnose and resolve standard technical issues.
  • Resolve problems on Windows and Macintosh platforms.
  • Review and update documentation as assigned.
  • Maintain fixed asset list.
  • Maintain organization's disaster recovery plan, ensure ongoing data backup and data integrity at all organization worksites.
  • Provide both central office and telecommuting staff with support for set-up and problem resolution for hardware, software and applications problems

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Minimum AS degree and 3-4 years in Operational Systems Support
  • Candidates with an A+ Certification preferred
  • Experience with website administration
  • Strong knowledge of HTML
  • Experience working with CRM platform and/or relational database. (Salesforce experience a plus)
  • Good understanding of current Windows Operating Systems, protocols, and standards, including: WINDOWS XP-7 and MS Office Suites
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting general office hardware and software, including network infrastructure and peripherals
  • Cloud computing experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated and directed
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Work well independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to exercise diplomacy
  • Working knowledge of web graphics or graphic software (Photo-Shop or Fireworks) for web-site graphics – a plus
  • Experience working in healthcare and/or familiarity of HIPPA security rules – Privacy/Data Protection - a plus
