Level 1:
12 CE hours are available for the Level 1 LIVE workshop.
11 CE hours are available for the Level 1 DVD Home-Study Program.
Level 2:
27 CE hours are available for the Level 2 LIVE workshop.
21 CE hours are available for the Level 2 DVD Home-Study Program.
Level 3:
20 CE hours are available for the Level 3 LIVE workshop.
Satisfactory Completion: The Level 1, Level 2 and the Level 3 Certification Training Practicum are separate courses. To obtain a certificate of attendance for any of these live workshops, participants must have paid tuition or made payment arrangements; signed in and out each day, and completed an evaluation in order to receive a certificate of attendance. Participants not fulfilling these requirements will not receive a certificate. Failure to sign in or out on any day will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire part. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit is not available. Certificates issued by The Gottman Institute will be handed out at the completion of each workshop.

Listed below are the continuing education credit(s) currently available for Gottman self-study packages. **Please note, your state licensing board dictates whether self study is an acceptable form of continuing education. Please refer to your state rules and regulations.

MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPISTS: Credit requirements and approvals vary per state board regulations and many boards accept courses that offer continuing education through APA, NBCC and/or ASWB. Please save the course outline, this certificate of completion and contact your state board or organization to determine specific requirements.
Procedures:
1. Review and study the manual.
2. Review and study the DVD recordings.
3. If seeking credit and/or document of successful completion, the following must be completed on the post-test/evaluation form:
· Locate order number from packing slip and write on the designated area.
· Include your payment for processing fee (instructions for doing so are listed on the top of the test)
· Complete post test/evaluation in entirety; including your email address and fax number to receive your certificate much faster than by mail.
· Upon completion, mail to the address listed on the form, or fax to 1-800-554-9775, “Attention: CE Dept”.
· Completed Post Tests must be received six (6) months from the date printed on the packing slip.
· Please also complete the User Satisfaction Survey located in the next section of the manual and submit your feedback to the address listed on the form.
Your completed post test/evaluation will be graded. If you receive a passing score (80% and above), you will be emailed/faxed/mailed a certificate of successful completion with earned continuing education credits. If you do not pass the post-test, you will be sent a letter indicating areas of deficiency, and another post test to complete. The post-test must be resubmitted and receive a passing grade before credit can be awarded. We will allow you to re-take as many times as necessary to receive a certificate. Please write your email address on the post test/evaluation form for fastest response.
